Published on 30 Dec 2010

Document Summary

In 2005, our first Millennium Development Goals National Report was published. This action signified our commitment alongside the global community to improve the living standards of Cook Islanders.

Our first report demonstrated that the Cook Islands has made significant strides in the areas of education, health, and political development. The principles that have directed our efforts expect us to strive to achieve all goals, highlighting, that the process ofgoal achievement is an iterative one. We therefore need to assess what has been achieved, refine our approachesand strategies and redefining goals in order to continue to improve the status of our people.
